മാങ്ങാ ഇഞ്ചി

മഞ്ഞൾ വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട ഒരു തരം ചെടിയാണ് കച്ചുരം അഥവാ മാങ്ങാ ഇഞ്ചി. കേരത്തിൻ്റെ പല ഭാഗങ്ങളിലും ഇത് കൃഷി ചെയ്തു വരുന്നു. ഇതിൻ്റെ  ജന്മദേശം ഇന്ത്യയും ഇന്ത്യോനേഷ്യയും ആണ്. മഞ്ഞളിനോട് സാമ്യമുള്ള ഇലയും തണ്ടും ഇഞ്ചിയോട് സാമ്യമുള്ള കിഴങ്ങുമാണ് ഇതിന് ഉള്ളത്. വിശപ്പില്ലായ്മ അകറ്റുവാനും ശരീരത്തിൻ്റെ ഊഷ്മാവ് കുറയ്ക്കുവാനും ഇത് ഉത്തമമാണ്. ഇത് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് സ്വാദിഷ്ടമായ അച്ചാറുകളും ചമ്മന്തിയും ഉണ്ടാക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. മാങ്ങാ ഇഞ്ചി ഏതു കാലാവസ്ഥയിലും നട്ടു വളർത്താവുന്നതാണ്. ആറു മാസം കൊണ്ടു തന്നെ ഇവയുടെ വിളവ് എടുക്കാം.

Manga Inchi

Manga Inchi, also called Mango Ginger. It looks like normal ginger but it is not really ginger and has a flavour of raw mango.
